When you start it, the oil level will drop a bit as the oil passages get filled back up again, but probably not enough from the sound of it. Be sure you're measuring with the NSX level. I've never tried getting oil out of the dipstick hole, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try very carefully...

With amayama's new way of organising parts diagrams, you can specify a LHD frame. Searching under door seal gave a diag with the same US part #'s 72321-SL0-900 and 72361-SL0-000, and they both show as available.
