    2017 Auction Season approaching - JH4NA21673T000001 on block 1-14-17

I wouldn't get too excited about auction estimates, let's wait for the auction results. :)

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

At some point soon the NSX will overtake the CR-Z in sales. I guess Honda-Acura buyers like their sport hybrids with some power.

Pic of Your NSX - Right Now!

This is a popular thread on my original home forum, S2ki, so I thought I'd start one over here now that people are getting their cars... Post a picture of your NC1 NSX as it sits right now, today. If you can't get anything today, your most recent picture(s) will do. :) Let's go!

    2017 Auction Season approaching - JH4NA21673T000001 on block 1-14-17

I represented the car for Eric in Tennessee, he wanted to sell relatively quickly so we went to LBI Limited (well-known Philadelphia classic car dealer). They are the current owners taking it to Mecum. They also have chassis number JH4NA21644S000030 currently for sale on eBay with even lower...

    Have prices peaked?

Prices peaked in 2015 with the rest of the car market. Look at some of the Bring a Trailer NSX sales that year for evidence. They came down during the first half of 2016 (again, with the rest of the car market), plateaued, and now they are on the way back up. If the economy stays strong they...

I personally wasn't impressed by the NC1 at all until I test drove it. Completely changed my perspective. There are a lot of cars that appear something on paper, and are something completely different in reality. Reality is what counts.

    getting a pre-purchase car inspection

Try to find an actual NSX specialist that will inspect the car either at their shop or come to the car.

How to deal with private sale and lien?

Buying a car with a lien can go smoothly and quickly, or it can be a month-plus long ordeal depending on 1) the seller, 2) the bank, and 3) the DMV. Getting the lien paid off at the bank is only half the battle, after that you have to deal with waiting for the DMV to send the title to the...

I definitely agree, although the new NSX is not the first hybrid supercar, whereas the original NSX was, in my opinion at least, truly the first of its kind - an ergonomic, driver friendly, reliable supercar. The original caused the rest of the industry to up their game, whereas the new one's...

"Receiving eight of the available 10 votes, the Acura NSX became the most universally acclaimed automobile in PCOTY history, and justifiably so. Its predecessor merely changed the supercar game in the perpetuity by proving that anvil-like reliability and the ecstatic revelation of exotic...

    NSX Pricing 1991-2000

The 1991 you're referring to, #0221 , has been on the market for a significant amount of time now. It should have sold long ago, my instincts would tell me to stay away. It's likely that potential buyers before you have come across some issues with that car that turned them away. Not to...

    Looking to buy first NSX

For me personally, nothing beats the '91-'94 coupes. Those are the NSXs that represent the chassis & dynamics that Ayrton Senna signed off on. That said, the later cars have their place too, it all depends on what you're looking for.

    One less yellow NSX....

Surprising to see such a mint '02+ being driven in heavy rain, but I guess that's probably more common over there. This appears to be a North American market car, unless the side markers were used in other countries? My '02 was exported to China, I hope it doesn't meet a similar fate!

'92 NSX on Bring A Trailer.

100%. A nice unmodified, low-mile CR will bring low-mid 30's, quite easily. Could probably even eke out high 30's for a low-enough mile car, but they're rare as hens' teeth.

'92 NSX on Bring A Trailer.

I'm not sure I said anything about high numbers. However, AP1 prices until recently were roughly in line with AP2s (a steady increase in prices as year went up), whereas now there's a huge jump between the two.

'92 NSX on Bring A Trailer.

AP1 prices are really dead right now. Very strange, you would think people would want the 9,000 RPM (this is coming from an AP2 owner).

    Upcoming Mecum Auction with NSX

What they really need to do is publicly show the buyer's fees and a "total price" after said 5% fees. That will show what people are actually willing to pay, out of pocket, for the cars sold on their site. Otherwise everything appears to have been sold for 5% lower than it really did.
