+1 it's all about quality to me. Different periods of the car, NA1/2, Zanardi, froggies vs flip up etc...Suggest no high end professional pictures, rather great quality amateur photo's. siD
If that is somewhat of a no stories car and in great shape, the asking price appears reasonable. As for an automatic, can you live with it......if not then I'd suggest getting a 5/6 speed. Not worth the pains of switching cars...not cheap either. Expect resale on an automatic to be less to a...
When your car gets to it's destination, I'm assuming you will be there to watch the off loading right? Make sure the driver does not do the same thing...although unlikely going down the ramp..but could still ride the clutch getting the car off the transporter. Better still drive the car...
Check out the Wiki section of this site. Lots of information. I'd say get the best car within your price range. Pay a little more for a better car. Maintenance records is a deal breaker sometimes. Your rookie questions could be cause for you wearing a flame suit. Well maybe. Read all the...
A VIN only does not offer up much information about the car. So unless a primer knows the VIN in my view your SOL in getting feedback. Are you worried someone might buy the car right from under you and is cause to provide so little information? siD
If there were legitimate documented reasons for the re-paint, and a PPI and Carfax is clean then, in my opinion, $20k is a good deal. If there are maintenance records that show the car is well looked after, and, the TB/WP has been recently done then I'd call $20K more of a steal. These cars...
Congratulations on getting the car of your dream and at anytime of the day :eek: My 1st reaction was 2:00am are you kidding, then came to my senses. Would probably have made the driver breakfast  taken the car for a spin and then slept the rest of the time in the car.
+1 if you have lower standards for a car, the mileage is correct and the car has been brought back to life, then this maybe the car for you. By lower standards I mean Rob's feedback does not bother you. I guess everything can be fixed...hmmm unless its the original oil :frown: Good luck in your...
Brandonsan, here is the link to where I bought the car back in 2000. They still display it on their website. After all it was once owned by Status Quo frontman Frances Rossi. If I remember correctly, you had an Aussie model right with a big motor in it?

Yes, it's all fair game when buying a car. But if a prime member knowingly beat me to the finish line when on my way to place a deposit or yet still pick up the car over the next weekend, they better have a good flame suit on. If the seller is a primer, they'd need a good flame suit too.
I did...
In my opinion, the normal Joe would spend up to $20k on getting this kewl car. Anyone truly interested in an NSX, prime member of not, would pass. just sayin....siD
Congratulations on NSX ownership, I think :rolleyes: Check this link out... http://www.nsxprime.com/wiki/Main_Page. lots of info
Your Avatar or lack thereof Says Canada? You there or in California? Where did you buy the car?
Did you do a pre-purchase inspection before buying the car...
If a person is looking for a "T", doesn't want to spend the extra dollars for 6 speed 3.2, like to just cruise with a little less power, and, look just as cool in a NA1 then the 95/96 model year is the most desirable.
In laymans terms, its your call on the most desirable. siD
