I was pulling out of the neighborhood and suddenly my tachometer dropped to 0. It never picked up again. Everything else work and the car drive just like normal. I'm going to check the fuses and the ignition switch in a bit. Any other suggestion?

I had the same problem awhile back. Turned out to be the ground wire. if turn out toe be an ignition switch, I have a brand new on sitting in my car you can use in the mean time. I get paranoid of getting stuck, so i have that and a main relay with me all the time.
