Zonda F..... INCREDIBLE.

It's a work of art! I'm not crazy about the interior, but the exterior is like a musuem piece! I've loved this car since first encountering it in Grand Turismo ;)

It is a beautiful car from the outside, but the interior looks like it came out of a '50's sci-fi movie.

Are they available in the States? I don't think it could get approval without airbags and without crash testing them.

Just register it as a kit car like the Noble M12. The Noble would never be street legal in the states if it wasn't sold in two seperate containers.

P.S. Exterior is just gorgeous but that interior is horrible and what is up with leather straps holding the rear quarter panels to the car.

There are about 6 in the US that I know of, 2 of them are in Florida with show @ display titles on them. 2 have the Bill Gates title that lets you drive it up to 5000 miles a year, if you go over that customs will come repo it from you and crush it. Whyclef has a red one, and there is another big real estate mogul from NY that has a gray one right in the middle of his huge F car collection.

You guys are clueless. The interior on this car is the perfect fusion of classic automophilia and contempocool. The blend screams class and perversive wealth. Plastic has no place in such a over-the-top vehicle. This car is not meant to be driven - it is meant to be worshiped.

WOW!!!
Where did you come up with that?
When you were asking your stereo installer when your car was going to be done, did he give you that same line?

Interesting....I think it looks like they gutted an animal personally. Of course, I really would not care about the interior if the car was exciting to drive. I assume it is....and for that I would drive it, like it, and not care one bit what anyone else thought. ;)

The interior can be built to YOUR specification, just like the driving shoes(comes standard)

you can choose the colours that you want but the layout of the interior can't be changed.the driving shoes you get with the car are made by the pope's cobbler, apparently

Actually, I think the interior looks pretty cool, but perhaps needs more subdued color. As a vegetarian, I wish the use of leather, on all cars, could be replaced by something else but, so far, nothing has been developed to give the sense of quality and refinement that leather does.JMO

I wonder if Chanel had something to do with the interior, reminds me of their quilted designs.

They don't, there is a push button that releases the latches to open up the engine compartment. The leather straps and buckles are just for looks.

I was lucky enough to see the first one brought to the states a few years ago and to talk with Mr. Pagani at the Concorso Italiano in Monterey, CA. He was a very humble man and a pleasure to talk to. All he wanted was to talk about his car! Oh, and to try to get about $300K out of me.

No they don't. But in point of fact, each interior is done to the owner's specifications. One that I saw was done in ostrich. Another was in a camel suede.

I remember watching a top gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson compares a Lambo Murcie and a Zonda, and Jeremy oush a button on the Zonda the rear engine hatch opens and then Jeremy has to unbuckle some leather straps to completely open the hatch up to see that beautiful engine. The episode was on sleepyfish.com but now sleepyfish seemed to hide all of there top gear episodes.

To me this car is sad, for the most part I think it has a gorgeous exterior but they could lose the straps and any other non-functional stuff.

The truly sad part is the interior and the lack of any driver aids. You can change the material of that interior to anything you like and it will still be ugly, those vents, guages and switches are stupid looking and don't offer anything other than trying to be retro and different.

Most everyone who would be buying a car like this are not race car drivers and having ABS, Traction control and stability control would be very helpful. This would add almost no weight to the car and would help make it a more drivable car for even the most experienced drivers. The reason this car doesn't have these features is quite simple, it isn't because he wanted a back to basics car it is because he doesn't have the R&D budget to add these features. If someone wants they can always turn these features off, if they don't want the extra help.

So I guess the reason I think this car is sad is because it has the potential to be something extrordionary similiar to the McLaren F1 but falls short based on some strange styling cues and lack of technology.

unusual statement, specialy the mclaran comparison because the mclaren has no power steering,no abs,no traction control.in fact it has zero driver aids, and it was all emitted in a bid to keep weight down.
the pagani is the lightest of the modern hypercars and the fact it does away with driver aids helps this, although i believe you can/do get traction control and power steering.

Parked at a business (won't reveal which one). Belongs to Wyclef Jean from the band The Fugees. He is one of only 2 people in the United States who owns a Pagani Zonda.

I've heard it has amazing fit and finish. Which is awesome. You would say "it better for $X00,000," but ferrari buyers don't seem to care.

I think it's awesome, haha, ever since Gran Turismo! haha, the exhaust made me drive the car in the mode to see the whole car instead of cockpit mode.

I find the interior 'over designed', and the exterior, mmmmm dunno.....

But the sound............ HOLLY CRAP!
