Whats up with ZE forged wheels ?
Anyone have any experience with them ?
They have banners on nsxprime through google advertising, and they have some decent looking wheels, with nice thick lips, and an option to customize the center cap with your own logo/lettering, etc.

No prices though, which kind of scares me, since I have no idea what they cost.

If anyone has price input, or photos of these on Nsx's or general info input, Id really appreciate it !!

Check out my gallery, I have the shifters and am going to order the BOOST spoke models. Quality and experience with Zak at ZE was great. Very informative and kept me up to date on my order. As for pricing it depends on what you want done. Best bet is to just call Zak ad see what the deal is. Also Poohbear on here has a set of rims aswell.

Holy crap synergy004!!! Those are amazing looking wheels. I love the Shifter wheels you have in your gallery, but what are the other wheels in your gallery?? Are they the Boost ones you're talking about?? They are incredible looking as well. Are you going to sell your Shifters??

Was just researching this wheel supplier on Prime and was in contact with them yesterday. I made an inquiry re: the "Mesh" model in 17x8 and 18x10 for NSX. Price quoted was ~2200 for full polish (hoop & center) or ~$2500 for brushed look center, delivery leadtime was 3-4 wks. You can also do more custom design, but the person I spoke with (Larry) said price increased proportionately. Only quoted wide rim, not sure of BBK offset $.

Orig looked at them because had used Boyd Coddington's on my 350Z and like the full billet look. Previous purchase experience with BC was terrible, some gentleman by the name of "Red" made the initial inquiry a real challenge. Ended up buying'em thru Discount Tire which salvaged the deal for BC. As usual, my DT experience was great.

Have no experience with ZEForged quality, so any inputs on that topic would be appreciated.

As it turns out, ZEForged can be purchased thru Discount Tire - which is probably how I will proceed.

Doc C - Where in CO? I'm in Fort Collins.

I stopped by ZE Forged last week to explore purchasing rims for a Pantera I own. Here is my take - family run business that takes great pride in their product. Most importantly, customer service that is second to none. That only comes when you personally own the business. They have great pride in what they do, how they do it and your satisfation with quality they deliver. Unfortunately, they do not make 17 inch rims I need for my car. If they did I would have bought with them with no hesitation. Hope that helps.

Are your offsets strictly for widebodied cars?

Thanks for the recommendation, Oligo. Will continue to pursue and update thread with results. Have asked Jeff, guy at DT (FC) to help decide on width/offset to best fill wheel well on what I'm willing to spend. So far, they appear to be a good value.

Zak @ zeforged is awesome!! Highly recommended. I've been using the Mesh for a close to a year now....and all is good. I have Mesh with BBK set up 18/19 that I like to sell or exchange if anyone interested. I guess I need a new look :D .....................................time to update some more.

Hmmm....what width/offset? Am interested, but had not planned 18/19's. PM me if wheels/tires are < $2k shipped. DT gets a good discount off retail so my first choice IS 18/17's as they have a better ride.

Very nice wheels - look great!

Ordered the Mesh 18x10, 17x8 this evening from Discount Tire via Geoff. We went back and forth for a couple days on the wheels - but he indicated this was one of the best wheel companies he has ever worked with. Zak and Larry were (1) knowledgeable and (2) very responsive. These guys coupled with the Discount Tire responsiveness have increased my confidence that this is the right decision.

Will provide actual purchase/fitment offset/delivery feedback once deal is closed. Have communicated objectives - let's see how well they are met!

I ordered the same wheels myself about a month ago. Just got them in a few days ago. I did 17x8 and 18x10 with a brushed finish and polished lip. The lip is about 1 1/2" in the front and 3" in the rear. The wheels look great, even though I don't have them on the car yet. I need to borrow a friend's camera, but as soon as I do, I'll have pics.

The Mesh wheels ordered arrived today at Discount Tire in Fort Collins. We're still trying to decide between a Nitto 555 and BFG KDW, leaning toward the KDW. Discount was concerned about the outside diameter falling within a fairly tight ratio to ensure compatibility with ABS which reduced tire options considerably (Nitto had best compliance ratio, though KDW was close) Had orig wanted 295's in rear, but looks like 225/275 is safest bet re: ABS, though supplier/fitment still needs to be det'd.

Did a brushed center (with clear coat), polished hoop and replaced center ZEForged cap with engraved Acura caliper logo.

Unfortunately, car's on lift getting low comp build and will be 2-3 weeks before I can see'em on car. If any interest, will post pics.

I ordered the Boze Speedster 20x8.5 all around. I drive a Lexus GS350. First time in years I'm going non-staggered. Just want to be different.
Here's a pic of the wheels:

I'm not trying to put in my .02 but I just sold my 19/20s with a 215 35 19 in the front and it was SUPER tight. I had 19x8.5 and 20x10.5 rear. Granted my car is dropped quite low with TEIN coilovers, I see it being nearly impossible to fit 20s up front... I'm not sure anyone else has done this yet??

Heres a pic of what my rim had looked like when I first ordered. Zak was really helpful and the customer service is great. I have more pics in my gallery but will post more up when I get back from overseas.

I actually like the looks of this wheel. What color is your car? Please post pics of them installed when you get the chance. Thanks.

THe front is factory, felt the ass end needed to be wider except for the front and it actually worked well, its a WW lip and stock bumper. I am in the process of making molds to fit the factory bumper with a comptech lip limited production run. THe front end is gonna be changed similar to the Alpine white Sorcery NSX.

It's a great wheel. When they arrived I was excited to open the box. They came 2 days after the original ETA which is not far off compared to most other custom manufactures. Very helpful in finding the proper offsets without rubbing or need of spacers. I was torn between two wheels. Atleast I know which wheels to go with next. I opted for the brushed center instead of the full polish. HAd to take away from the bling bling since most who dont know about wheels think they have a chrome lip.

David are you gonna be at the NSXTEXPO? I actually fly in that morning and looking forward to another meet.

LUIS, Can you tell me or atleast PM the hotel location so I can book it.

THanks
Gil

Wow, thats the look I want. Awsome wheel.
