Does anyone have Zanardi springs installed over Koni Yellow adjustable shocks?

I tried this and there is about a 3 inch gap over the front wheels.

Something must be wrong with the install, but I want to make sure that SOMEONE else has done this successfully before.

Thanks,
Don

Sounds like the lower spring cups are
upside down or they are sitting too far up on the shock Don........

Don,

Private message "jadkar" in the NE. He had a similar issue with this setup. I recall the spring not seating in the upper spring rubber grommets exactly right.

He spent a bit of time on this, he has the answer:). You should also do a search, since he posted a few times in the NE and tech forums about this.

Clearly something is amiss Don.I have that combo on the bee but shame of shames I had my tech do the work so I don't know what your problem is,he did say it was striaght forward though, and the car should sit about 1/2 inch lower.Jadcars problem was his swaybar was resting on his battery tray, also his type r brace bars were in the way and therfore lifting the front abit.

Thanks for the replys, guys.
Jadkar emailed me the fix.
There is a rubber sheath on the top of the spring that is in the way of where the top of the spring is supposed to seat.
I just need to slide that down the spring and reinstall to get it to drop into place correctly.
Doc, you are referring to jadkar's other problem, but thanks!

Actually DocJohn and I were discussing the possibility of my sway bar affecting my ride height as well. I found at a later date however, that I was probably incorrect on this. The ride height problem was in fact the the upper spring seat.

I had the exact same issue as you, jadkar, on the NSX-R chassis bar rubbing my Dali track bar. My tech removed my end links, cut them, shortened them, sleeved and rewelded them to take about an inch of length out. It worked, but at that time I was running my RM springs and doing all this did not affect ride height at all.

Don't we all love mods?!!
