Zanardi #8 Question Once Again

I have read so many posts about what a terrible condition #8 is in. However, does anyone know for sure if the car has actually been in accidents? I am wondering if the repaint on the car is only due to other causes (rather than actual accidents).

supra2nv reported on it in this thread, saying he looked it over very close and found bondo.
