I have only used it with the Accelerator, and had no problems the only limit is a max of 5 coats in 24 hours, I did still use the z1 but you do not count it as a coat since you do not mix the accelerator in with the z1. They say the clarity is better with the acceleratorbut I do not know if it is because I have not used the Zaino without the accelerator. I can say I wass very happy with what I ended up with and I did use it.Dave
