Yet another tire question for 16 and 17 rims

Hello again,

For the track, what is the optimal tire size for a stock 92 NSX with 16 and 17 wheels? I would rather not have the tires stick out pass the fender and also keep the same or lower height. Many thanks!

ps: From the other posts, I am thinking of Kumho Victoracer or Toyo RA1.

Off the top of my head there are not any easily obtainable track tires for the 16 in fronts,I used to use 225/45/16 in pirelli p zero-c,but they have been replaced by the rosso again no 225/45/16 available.

Hoosiers come in the right sizes for 16 and 17. They're magic.

I did'nt include the hoosiers because I feel they are too delicate to use as a street/track tire.If Nguyen is going to trailer the car then the hoosier is the way to go.

How many track events do you have?

That would be one of the first questions to ask, you probably want to have many track events under your belt before making the move to the R-compounds.

track tires

Hello ya all again,

I won't trailer the car, already too much work trailering my purpose built race car. I lost count of how many track events I've attended in the NSX. It has about 10K+ track miles on it. Thanks.
