what i really meant to say other than thanks was...to NSEX--the rims are from Rays Engineering who, as you know, make Volk Racing. I was going to get the Model 7s in gunmetal, but you beat me to it

Oooooo, I like the wheels! Where did you order them, I'd like to get more information, and perhaps place an order.

Did you need to use any spacers to clear the calipers.

Ciao,

Chris--I got the wheels from ES Motorsports (www.es-sports.com) and if you mention you saw the wheels on a red nsx they'll know the rims. No spacers for the calipers needed but my set up is a 91. Fronts are 17x8 +43, rears 18x9.5 +45. Wait a minute tho...saw your site, and didn't you just get new wheels?

For jsottile, the tires are 225/40/17 and 275/35/18 in the rear--nitto 555, and no problems w/ traction control.

Hey uberjeph,
I have to compliment your car once again

What kinda of carbon fiber engine cover is that? I guess it's Gruppe M's, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey man, never enough wheels! I need to start cleaning out my garage, I currently have 6 sets of wheels in there :-(

I'm still looking for a trick set of track wheels that will clear my big brakes. The technos work out ok, but are white, and are a pain to keep clean. These are Volks, right? What model?

By the way, when you get the chance, could you do me a big favor? Could you measure the distance from the inside of one of the front spokes to your stock caliper? Measure where it is closest.

Cheers,
-- C

Ok, Mr. Science of Speeed, the rims are Rays Engineering (not Volk, even though Rays makes Volk) Versus SS7s and the shortest caliper to spoke distance in the front is .51". And to NSEX, yup, that's a Gruppe M cover.

This weekend I had a chance to drive a 2000 Supercharged NSX and I turned it down. Is there something wrong with me? I think so....
