1st of all I did try the search function but couldn't find one which went into the install completely.

Anyways the problem I'm having is that I'm doing a Xenon install on my X using OEM BMW Hella ballast and Osram bulbs. Now I've done these retrofits on my other cars without a problem but on the X the focus and output is shocking and making the bulb stick tough. Though I've seen others by the cartoka or SOS kit without a problem with output or focus just the weather caps. It's driving me mad even halogens are brighter whats going on ??

Someone please help.

Thanx in advance

Nico

I'm assuming that your bulbs are custom made to replace 9006 and that you haven't tried to use factory HID bulbs.

Importaint in all headlight systems, but especially importaint in projector systems like that used in the NSX is the placement of the HID capsule within the bulb. It must be in the exact same space as the filiment in the oem halogen bulb.

To check this, take your HID bulb and an OEM 9006 bulb and compare them side by side. From the edge of the base, see that the little glass capsule inside the HID bulb is exactly where the filliment is in the 9006 bulb. If it is off, either vertically or horizontally, your focus and light output will not be correct.

check out the pics on www.misterjung.com I'm not endorsing his product either way, but he has a clear explanation of this fact.

Thanx for the headsup..

I think this is the answer!!

Also mine is euro/jap spec so we use H1.
