Taxes on the NSX would be $28,000.
Assuming IRS counts the car as pure income worth $100k, assuming he makes $30k per year, he's in the 28% tax bracket.headshot99r6 said:

He paid $38,600.00 in taxes, it was based on the cars value set by Stupid Street at $119.000.00. I offered him 70k and he said no. But he came back with something in the 80's.

I'm sure he knew what he was getting into, and for a few hours of "intense r/c racing action", I'm also sure he'll come out WAY ahead when all is said and done. (IOW, If he had taken prova4re's offer, he'd have made a cool $30,000.)

Not really. The winner of the car is David Jun, a VERY successful R/C driver with ties to Tamiya. If he isn't currently sponsored by them, at least he was at one time. Tamiya even released a "David Jun Limited" version of its very popular TA03 chassis.beeker16 said:
