Well, I realized the other day that the wood pieces are glued on top of the factory pieces. I am sure if I try and remove them it will peel the surface and look like crap anyways. unless there is a product that will clear up all the abrasive. In any case, who knows... I'll offer you $20. I don't know if i am lowballing or something. but to me, its not an item i absolutely need.

My previous owner had the wood grain plastic panels on the car and a heat gun or blow- dryer (and a lot of patience) will take care of it. Try not to use a metal putty knife cause you may scratch the panels....

good luck.

Mucho thanks for the help. Ill try it and if it turns out like crap, i have you to blame....haha, j/k. Ill just put it back the way it is if everything that is stock had already peeled.

good luck and try not to ruin it. the oem black finish is VERY easy to scratch off (its chrome looking underneath) and this piece can't really be had for much less than $300 (which is why your $20 offer was scoffed at).

Thanks for the advice. had no idea a piece of plastic was worth so much. my guess wouldve been around $50 bucks, thats why i said in the statement i didnt want to lowball. ill try and it and see how it works, if not its kool too. i think im getting used to the morning wood. (get your head outta the gutter guys...) I think it adds a luxurious touch, since those seats are so damn comfortable i can fall into a deep coma.
