Yes it finally broke...and it wasn't the metal connection to the door cable but instead it was the plastic handle itself.

I could buy the aluminum aftermarket replacement for the cost of one OEM but I'd like to check with other members to see if a handle is for sale out there for sale at a reasonable price.

Any offers?
