Ok, I've been bitten. Mid-life crisis whatever, have come to the conclusion I need and deserve one. Don't imagine I'll get any arguments here. Keeping my clean, 95 Saab SE conv. w/71k as second car, but would drive the NSX regularly as well.
Prefer an unmodified, black, silver, red, 2001 (just prefer the look) or as close to it as possible, though could be talked into a later model if the price and car was right. Milage not a deal breaker, but lack of documentation as to ownership and service would be. Cars titled to individuals preferred, as 7% state sales tax on used cars purchased from dealers, or registered to a business is a killer! Do all states charge sales tax on used cars from dealers?
Curious if anyone has looked at any NSXs listed in the Atlanta paper and on ajccars.com. Horrible classified site, no pix or VIN#s and none appear to be listed here or on autotrader.com. Knowing the roads and driving habits in and around Atlanta, not so sure I'm interested anyway.
I did test drive the red, 2000, w/9k in Jonesboro (listed on AutoTrader) and it's a great car though in need of tires, but the owner and I are still negotiating (come on Dr. Steve, cut a guy a break). Not sure why he hasn't listed it here.
I'm in a Athens, GA just outside of Atlanta, in a position to move fast and not opposed to flying out/driving back a day, maybe two.
