Would you guys buy a theft recoverd car?

There's a theft recoverd '00 ITR for sale in my area and I was so in love with the car at first sight so I put down 200 non-refundable deposite on the car. However, I later found out the front bumper doesn't fit well to the car and the whole car had been repainted.
Now I'm confused should I get this ITR now for cheap or spend more on others?

Depends how cheap is cheap?

The misalignment and repaint indicate that the car may have been in an accident. If you're serious about the car, get it looked over by an Acura Dealer, or at least a reputable shop, so you'll know what you're getting yourself into before hand.

If it's cheap enough, it's worth a try. Got to be some price that you would be happy with. I wouldn't automatically say "no" with out hearing the price or having it checked out. Just my 02.

Make sure the engine is good as it's the best part of the ITR. Do you know anymore information about what happened to the car? How about running a carfax on it?

I would buy a theft recovery if it checked out well and got me into a car I could not otherwise afford.
