Anyone watching/keeping up?

Since I'm in the US, coverage takes second fiddle to ESPN cheerleading or poker tourneys, so I've been listening to online feeds.

I was pleased with Team USA's effort but still worry that Canada will ride Brodeur to success despite not really showing up for the exhibition game.

Recap: US Goals from Guerin, Rolston and Leopold on Luongo - Leetch with 2 helpers tonight. Heatley on Conklin for Canada.
 
Brodeur is all they need!
He is the best goaltender to lace them up. imo

All they need is a hot goalie and its over, do you remember Mike Rickter stealing the cup for the US. Hell the US team never even showed up for that series.
Its all about the goaltending.
 
I honestly wouldn't be worried as much if Richter was still in net.
He knew how to take it up a notch at crunch time.
(Too bad the NYR can't)

I am prepared to take a gamble and throw DiPietro out in the front line so he can get used to being the future US number 1.

Hopefully our D' can stay fresh come crunch/final time.
