I've searched and it appears that it isn't a common issue since I couldn't find anything on it, but my windshield wipers that used to work don't work anymore.
Being in Southern California, we don't get much use of the wipers, but I have been caught in unexpected rain in the past and have used my wipers. However, recently, when I found myself caught in a bit of rain, the wipers would not come on. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be fine; the switch is able to turn on the washer pump, so I assume that it's connected; and I've checked the ground connection and that seems fine too.
Turning the wiper switch to any position does not do anything. The only thing that I'm able to work from the switch is the washer pump.
I still need to check the wiper motor and linkage, but I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and could point me in the direction of highest probability.
Thanks!
