wiper blade arm rubbing

Had my 97 NSX for almost two months now. Still smile ear to ear each day I get to drive it. Got caught in rain this week and heard noise from the wiper blades. Noticed the wiper arm on passenger side rubbing on the underneath side of the hood. Any suggestions?

Your wiper must be going to low. It should not try to go under the edge of the hood. Have they been off? They may have been put on in the wrong position on the shaft. Pull off the problem one and reposition it as long as it does not go off the outside edge of the glass.

To do this, you'll need a 17 mm socket. Deep socket is better for the acorn nut.

Don't worry if the arm feels like it doesn't want to pull off; it is designed to put pressure on the blade portion. You can apply pressure below the blade to relieve this pressure so that the base of the arm is more perpendicular to the shaft.
