I am looking for the two sideskirt and I am shopping for the best price. Any idea?

I really like the look of the "2003 NSX", very Type-R like, in the Gallery forum.

Until now I tought that the car looked umbalanced with the stock lip and sideskirt... now I do not anymore. It looks awesome!

JFYI, I would double check that you can get them for $190 a pair at that website. When I click on the website and scroll down to the WW side skirts, this is the message I see.

"Made from durable urethane. Shown with optional wing and air dam. Choose Left or Right Side Skirt under **MORE INFO** If you need both, buy quantity of 2.
MSRP $195.99 Your Price $190.99"

Note they say if you need both buy two. For kicks I placed 1 left and 1 right (2 total)WW side skirt in the shoping cart and it came out with a price of $381.98.

At this point, Dali Racing which sells the pair for $260 is still much cheaper.

See here for procedure on removal of stock skirts & some tips on re-installation of both Std. or WW skirts.

Also get them at Dali Racing, see WingsWest Skirts At Dali Racing - I haven't seen a better price on these or front air dam anywhere.

Quick note for anyone tempted to buy these used (already painted): they flex incredibly when not mounted on the car, so unless a really good flex agent additive was used in the paint, they are going to look horrible when you receive them after shipping; additionally, the bonding tape will have to be replaced; lastly, the color may not match anyway & still require painting. At the price these are new I would recommend buying them virgin.

Jonathan is right, he's refering to the lip spoiler I sold him. It had new paint when shipped, but spider webbed badly in shipping. Sorry about that Jonathan, but sounds like you were able to get looking good w/ a repaint. I'll be in shoes b/c I'm buying an entire set from AZNSXGIRL in silver & I'm crossing my fingers that the skirts (the only parts I really need) will survive the cross country trip! If not, a new coat of paint it is!

Thanks everybody for the help, I will print it out for my bodyshop guy (I still do not unbderstand if the OEM sideskirt have to be taken away... I tought not)!

I will contact Mark J. today for the order...

Does somebody have a picture of how the wingwest sideskirt looks with the door open in the side step area? Thanks again for helping!

Gheba - at first I was confused also, especially since my old skirts (different brand) were mounted on top of the originals - however I can confirm 100% the stock skirt must be removed & the WW replace them completely. Please pay particular attention to installing those additional screws into the fenders - they just won't look right w/o it. (Again, unmounted, it is quite flexible, so needs this additional mounting support to make it "true")

I had the exact same concerns before I saw one first-hand! I will go & take some for you & post here, will send high res copy directly to you (send me an e-mail private so I will have your address). Also note that there are no holes for the tabs in the black plastic sill plate that mounts on top (where the VIN is displayed) - it still mounts in the tabs on the inner sill however; I just cut the outer tabs off mine flush to the underside & used a little double-sided tape to help keep it secure.

This from the WW instructions should anyone have further doubts on Ken's excellent summary

2) SIDE SKIRTS
REMOVE SIDE SKIRT OFF OF CAR. CHECK FIT THE NEW WINGS WEST SIDE SKIRT ON THE CAR FOR CORRECT LOCATION. AFTER IT IS
PROPERLY ALIGNED, USING A GREASE PENCIL, DRAW A LINE ALONG THE TOP EDGE OF THE SIDE SKIRT. THIS WILL BE A REFERENCE LINE
FOR THE FINAL INSTALLATION. USING THE CLEANING INSTRUCTION IN FRONT AIR DAM SECTION, WIPE THE AREA ON THE CAR WHERE THE
TAPE WILL COME IN CONTACT. PEEL BACK APPROXIMATELY 2” OF THE PLASTIC BACKING OFF THE TAPE AND POSITION SIDE SKIRT ON THE
CAR USING GREASE PENCIL LINE AS YOUR REFERENCE. PRESS FIRMLY ONTO CAR TO ASSURE GOOD ADHESION. DRILL (2) 1/8” HOLES
IN EACH WHEEL WELL AND SECURE WITH (2) #8 X 3/4” PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS PER SIDE. ALSO, SECURE FROM BOTTOM BY DRILLING
TWO (2) 1/8” HOLES THRU THE URETHANE FLANGE AND SECURE WITH (2) #8 SELF TAPPING SCREWS.

Thanks!
I just remembered one more thing - in the third pic above, in order to get the skirt to be flush up against the fender inside the door well, I had to trim away some of the material on the skirt (It's really thick in that area, too!)
A dry fit is much recommended until it all lines up flush - once you remove the film on the tape, there's no going back - that stuff sticks super-strong!
