Wings West Body Kit

I only have the air dam, but come spring time I'm going to get the sides and rear "spats". I don't think I'll get a new wing. I think its hard to find one that looks as intergrated as the stock one. There is one wing by Back Yard (JDM) that retains the stock look but has an adjustable center section which I may get, but at $1300 for the wing its not cheap.

PUREVIL,

The front air dam looks GREAT on you car. Acura should have designed the car this way. I am curious to see how the rest of the kit will change the appearance.

Question:
Did you have to remove the front "sacrificial scrape saver" under the front air dam before the Wings West air dam was attached or does is go right over that piece?

Also, is the front air dam held in place by tape, screws, or a combination of both?

I just had my NSX outfitted with the full NSX boddy kit from Wings West (minus the riceboy spoiler though!). I think the rear "spats" really help in keeping the look consistent with the rest of the kit. It "fattens" the look of the NSX without looking too aftermarket.

I've got pics posted in the photo gallery forum, but you can also go to www.geocities.com/nsx_googleguy

They're night pics so it'll be difficult to see all the detail -- i'll have some new day time pics that will show the kit a bit better that i will post in the next few days!

Chris W,

Well according the guys I bought my air dam from said I don't have to take off the OEM air dam so I didn't. But you could if you wanted to.

Its held in place by 3M tape on the front and sides and in the wheel wells there is 2 screws.

I love the wings west quality and fit, they always do a great job.

beauty !

I got my WW kit for $700, and I'm estimating painting and install should come out to around $150. So $850 for everything.

I got my air dam for 215 shipped and the rest of the kit will cost me 500 shipped. Paint and labor for the air dam was free for me, I think the rest of the kit will be free as well.
