The other day, it started raining when I was touring with my NSX and I discovered that the windshield wipers did not operate normally
One shot worked, hi-speed worked reluctantly and in both cases the blades would not park but would stay where they were when stopped!
As my car had been repaired following an accident, I thought that maybe some connector was loose?
After a long search, I discovered that the "low speed wiper" relay had been mounted back to front.
This was made possible because it obviously was not an OEM component.
Not to worry, I inverted the relay in it's socket but....still no work!
After spending a little(?) more time I discovered that in fact the relay used for the "low speed wiper" has it's contacts CLOSED at rest unlike the "hi-speed wiper" relay that's OPEN when at rest:redface:
Interestingly(?) the parts manual gives the same reference for both relays....
Has anyone faced this issue before?
