My front windshield was damaged by a rock on the highway and developed a rather large crack. Insurance will take care of it so that isn't a problem. My question is will they only replace the windshield itself, or will they replace what they have to go through to get to it?

I had my windshield replace on my civic and the price is for only the windshield and installation. Anything else damaged due to removing the damaged windshield because of it's age cost extra. I'm sure EVERY facility is different. Ask before signing the contract. Good luck!

I'm not worried about the parts that need to be replaced due to age, I am talking about parts like #'s 3,5,6 that they would have to destroy in order to remove the windshield regardless of age.
