Window Tinting...

I just had the windows on the NSX tinted. The rear is limo and the sides are 35%. This is a cheap mod as you all know. The tint drastically cut down on the cabin temperature and the looks are just incredible. It looks as if the car has a real smooth transition from the truck lid up to the roof...

It will depend on the darkness of the tint selected... My car was $175

Cost me nothing, but that was probably because i tinted the car myself.... Rear glass isnt that difficult to do in 1 piece as long as the film they use is of decent quality. Just make sure you use a metalized film, and that they offer a lifetime warranty. The metalized film will not turn purple on you (the ones that do are dyed films). The car should be cheap to do since there are 3 windows. But since it is a NSX they price doubles.

The important thing to remember is make sure the film they use is good, you dont want to remove it in a year or two because it changed colors, because the defrost lines typically get damaged during the cleanup if they are not careful doing it.
