Yep. The screws that hold them down are only accessible from the bottom/backside of the door.
There are 7 screws that hold the door panel on. I seemed to always want to start pulling when I thought I saw they were all out at 5 or 6. Some are tucked under the rubber seal... count 7 and you'll be ok.
