Window regulators

I "get" the whole window regulator subject, and in fact replaced both of mine pre-Dali fix-it-thingies.

Recently sold my 91' and bought a 99'. Do I need to go through this again,or did Honda make a permanent fix by 99'?

I have 98 regulators in my 1991 nsx and I thought i was okay until I read this.
