my motor will not roll up and my window is stuck in the down position:mad: anyone know a place where i can get another motor from? parts webste?

this is a common problem and used parts are hard to find because of that.

You can get the window regulator rebuilt for about $80. (do a search...between New Posts and Quick Links)

The window can be kept in the up position with a block of wood on the inside or a piece of duct tape on the outside along the lower rubber stripping.

dali racing is all i have so far i want to get this part today. i really dont wanna rebuild it id rather get a new regulator dealer is 600.00:eek: any acura websites i can visit?

I don't know if the year matters (probably not), but here are the 97 model: Linky

$430 OEM

You can look up your year and confirm the part number.

Have you replaced the window regulator retainers with these parts? If the original plastic retainer broke when you tried to raise your window it would seem like the motor was bad.

It is very rare for a motor to go bad, not impossible though, I would bet this is your problem. I would remove the door panel and do some looking before I spent a few hundred dollars on a new regulator when $20 would fix both doors.
