window drop /reset on unlock..

Hey Guys,

had an odd occurrence happen today. left the car locked outside for 3 hrs and when I unlocked / approached the car, I didn't realize that when I opened the door handles the windows dropped about twice the distance they should, and then would not go back up on their own. the only way to get them to reset was to manually raise it again. this happened twice. but has not repeated itself after coming home.. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen.. I know that naturally in the car it is supposed to go down about 1/2 an inch then reset back up when you close the door but this was a much larger drop and no reset.. the tell was all the engine noise in the car when I started it looking for any input.. car is going away soon for the winter, Kevin K

I had a similar issue with my window last summer. Plus a door lock issue. Think it didn’t unlock the drivers door. Dealer checked the battery and said it was low. Put a new one in and no problems since. It happened with the original battery in the car that sat on the showroom floor for about year before I bought it. I keep it on the trickle charger for extra insurance along with lots of driving it.
