window clicking noise

any idea what a clicking noise would be when the window rolls up and down? the window works fine it just makes a clicking noise during the movement thank you...this question would probably be better off in the technical section so i will go there next ...white 1993

I'm new here, and might not know everything, but I am willing to bet it is time to change that window regulator. If I recall correctly, people usually here that noise before their window falls down in their door and it is big bucks to replace.

Daliracing sells them dor 15 bucks. You might want to do that ASAP.

Just to clarify - what Dali Racing sells for $16 (a pair) is the "window fix-it thingies" that replace the plastic clip that often breaks on the older-style regulators. This is a worthwhile item, to prevent having to replace the regulator. It's just not the entire regulator, which costs around $400 plus labor.

Don't forget to lube it when you have the door panel open...
