I just bought some torinos and want to mount them this way. think it will fly?
1.remove oem seats and brackets
2. remove oem seat from oem bracket
3. mount aluminum flat stock to factory mount point on oem bracket for oem seat
4.mount torinos to aluminum flat stock and use seat mount points, drill flat stock for fit.and bolt seat to flat stock.
does this sound feasable.for the cost of some flat stock and a few bolts I think its worth a try unless one of you gurus can point out where I am messing up
feedback would be very welcome.if it flys I will write a diy and put all the specs and such in it
Best regards david

It will probably not work. The Torinos are bottom mount seats, the oem seats/rails are of a side mount design. While it may possibly work, even if you got it to work, the seats would probably be sitting too high, unless you are very short. But if you have the time, by all means give it a try and let us know the results.
