I am planing an 02 upgrade to my 99 car, so the Tubi has to go.
Does anyone know how loud the NSX is if only the Cats are kept to keep the noise down?
I am thinking of having something like this made up but keeping the Cats and deleting the silencers:

I am curious as when I tried the NSX with test pipes the sound was loud, but not that much, only after 3k rpm or so. It sounded nice, but I was not impressed with the smell, polution and the fact that my car would have failed the MOT inspections.
The noise would not be a problem as I used the NSX as a third car, just curious if it will be the similar to how my car sounded with the Tubi and test pipes.
Will the AF be affected at all? Also can this be detrimental to the Cats? Will I loose performamnce?
I've seen the one that member D'Ecosse has transformed, and it looks like a good solution, but I want to keep the Tubi original in case I do decide to sell it to someone with another 91 - 99 NSX or perhaps mount it on another car.
