Ok, I'm about to jump the gun on a new set of wheels...but I have several options (in terms of sizes)
Here's the setup: The car is a '91 set on lowest perch of bilsteins with stock springs.
My current wheels dimensions are:
Front-18x8 Offset:38mm WITH 3MM SPACER
Rear-19x10 Offset:45mm
The fronts rub the wheel well lining a little when doing full turns.
Now here's the dilemma: I want to go smaller and get 17" upfront and 18" in the rear. Different sources recommend different sizes and offsets...which do you guys recommend?
The website I want to purchase the wheels from recommends:
Front- 17x8.5 Offset: +38
Rear- 18x9.5 Offset: +38
Dali has these options:
Front- 17x7.5 Offset: +48
Rear- 18x9.5 Offset: +43
or
Front- 17x8.5 Offset: +48 FOR TRACK CAR
What do you all think? With my setup, which would be the best route (car is a daily driver and hardly tracked)
Would any of these setups require a spacer? (I don't want to go that route again) Thanks folks!
