I just bought a 1991 nsx 38k miles on it. The nsx had only one female doctor owner its whole life. The car is in excelent condition. But they are a few things that came up in the inspection
1. ABS MODULATOR/ACCUMULATION STARTING TO LEAK
2. Will need timingbelt /water pump soon
3. Valve cover gaskets leaking oil

There is a 96 NSX with stock nsx fan and evaporator ,nsx abs system for sale will it work on my 91:confused: ??

To the best of my knowledge those items will interchange.
HOWEVER do not attempt to get used parts on the others items you need.

Your ABS modulator sounds like it first needs to be bled and then after that go out and stomp on the brakes at around 35-40 mph in a safe area to work the solenoids. You can also wash that area with using simple green and then hot water of a high pressure hose first to see exactly where it is leaking. I just think that it has overflowed from the master resevoir and that's what you are seeing. That's at least what I would do first before spending any big money. Good luck.

THanks ATERPAK, 92NSX,
I wasn't going to buy the other parts used just want to know if the nsx fan and evaporator ,nsx abs system from a 1996 will work on a 1991 can anyone confirm this??

You can verify the part numbers for different years at a source like this:

So if you like: look it up and post the results of your investigation.

As for reusing a used evap.... I would NOT do such a thing. Replacing the part is non-trival (expensive, very time consuming and requires a lot of care...or you will ruin other parts). The used part must be properly removed, the innards kept very clean and it is a quasi-wear item (appears vibration and cycling cause it to fail). You also have the expense of evacuating the system and refilling it

So unless you are trying to prove a point about installing a used evap: it is probably unwise. YMMV.

Reusing ABS/ALB stuff is fine (IMHO) as it is cheap to R&R the parts and is a non-critical system.
