To continue my obsession with the 2002 Type-R, I am still looking to buy a SET of USED seats from a NA2 (not NA1) Type-R. I will pay up to $8,000 USD if the seats have ALL the included hardware and fasteners.

Can some of our NSX friends in Japan ask around to see if anyone is willing to sell a set?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

They do show up in Yahoo Japan from time to time, i remember seeing a pair selling for 700000Yen...........but nothing for NSX is cheap even on Yahoo. Good luck!!

I don't have the seats and can't tell you were to look, but i just wanted to say YOU ROCK!! Someone willing to spend $8k to have the most authentic NSX-R available...that's dedication. Geez, willing to spend more for seats than what engines sell for...

Henry.
I saw that seat, but it is a NA1 seat, not NA2. Thanks anyway.

I have a friend in Japan. I'll have him keep an eye out. It doesn't sound like an easy find but I'm impressed with your dedication to finding them.

I've seen a few pop up over the years on yahoo japan like others have suggested.

or occassionally there are type s/s zero seats just the seat and no rail for around $US1000.

Ill sell you these for $5000.00 USD :)

I'm NEVER ever going to dinner with you to Nobu. WAYYY too dangerous a place.

fits the bootie like a glove...

Does Honda offer the 'butt-mold' process for those who want a better and more precise fit for their NSX-R seat?!?

(ie. resin/epoxy material is poured inside the carbon-kevlar shell w/ the occupant seated to form an exact mold)

Funny, I was talking to Anil regarding the Stratus seats and how snug they are, he says the original NSX-R seats are even tighter. I have a 32" waist and they are very snug, fun for the track but I think a bit much for city driving.
