Hey guys, i'm not sure how many of you guys out there would be interested in a knock off version of the Comptech Widebody. I just want to see how many people would be interested if i setup a groupbuy on it.

If the quality and price were right, you most certainly would have some interest. =)
The project hasn't been started, But it will be a 1st generation Replica. Meaning its not a copy of a copy. It will be a copy of the genuine one. The fitment should be pretty much the same as the genuine one. This guy does amazing work. As for price i have to work it out w/ my friend. I'm just gonna estimate it as being half the price or less.
How about copying the front nose piece from CT for the non-wide body cars? I'll bet you'll get a lot more business with that than a complete wide body kit. I think their front nose is the only one I'd consider.

I would want the whole enchilada once you confirm that it would be half of what Comptech charges for the Widebody NSX. Do you need a beta? Pick me....

The widebody rear looks terrible IMO.
I guess thats why they make so many different kits.
So many ppl with so many different tastes. Personally, the Comptech widebody is the one NSX kit that I absolutely drool over. The perfect blend of uniqueness with simplicity. None of that riceyness nor the bolt on look. I prefer it to even the JGTC race kits.
Are there legal/copyright issues in doing this?
