Wide body conversion Question!!

I am thinking of doing a wide body for the rear of my NSX,, my question is since the wide body kit flares out so much,, what work will i need to do to get the gas tank to work? i mean will there be this huge hole that i have to put the nozzle in before I get it in the hole? no pun intended, I am wondering how they did this? I know I will need to take the gas door off but from the gas hole to the NEW gas door is there this huge gap? I dont know what to do?

Depending on the quarter panels you decide to use, they treat them differently. I know with the Sorcery ones you need to use a motorcycle style cap unless you make your own. The Marga Hills style has a gas door.

Yup, what he said. It depends on which widebody flare you go with. For example on my Taitec wide rears, you could still reach the stock gas fill even though it sat recessed a bit. I could have left it like that if I wanted. However, what I eventually did was use a gas fill extension tube that extends your gas tank fill out. It looks like the gas cap sectin wth two tubes (a bigger and smaller one) that is used to extend your gas line out. The smaller tube is used to catch the overflow and dump it.
