Does anyone know why they don't race NSX's in gt racing series in America ??
Yeah, guess i have been.....RP-Motorsports said:did you just come from under a rock? Pete Halsmer and PD Cunningham raced them since 1990. They just recently stopped due to rules regulations, costs, and lack of factory support <----HUGE issue etc. Many are still run in grassroots events all of the way up to SCCA.

Do you know what the NSX would do to a caddy CTS !!, or a viper on a trackI would say because it would make the other cars look bad.
That was true in the late 90's, but not now. I think PD reluctently retired the car not only the first time, but the second time as well.I would say because it would make the other cars look bad.

Well I would think that on shorter track vipers and caddy, would not have a chance, They are nowhere near as nimble as a NSX.92 white 0650 said:That was true in the late 90's, but not now. I think PD reluctently retired the car not only the first time, but the second time as well.
RP, would you like to do the honors?Well I would think that on shorter track vipers and caddy, would not have a chance, They are nowhere near as nimble as a NSX.
Yeah that makes sense. It's a money thing.sjs said:Guys, the point of rules these days is to equalize unequal cars so they can compete and put on a good show. NSX, Caddy, whatever. Rules can be written to give any one car an edge over another. Most teams today don't care what they run so long as someone gives them the money to run it.

Nice, it's all about getting the money backing for that.scorp965 said:Here is a x-post from honda tech forums:
