Why my Twin Turbo NSX gets street parked...and for good reason.

and some of you know what my brother drives...

'95 F355 Spider
-Brembo big brake kit front and rear (cost ??? ~$10-20K)
-Challenge suspension (couple thousand)
-Challenge rear wing ($3K, if you can find one)
-Custom made 6 point roll bar ($10K to get made)
-Challenge rear grill (mere $1500)
-Tubi Exhaust ($3000)
-$8500 in services just done (new clutch, timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, 30K service)
-16K miles

Problem is, I live with my brother in a condo by the beach and have to share the garage...so we only have two tandem parking spaces.

My brother already has to park a Mercedes '00 ML55 AMG, '95 BMW M3, and a '03 H2 on the street.

luckily I convinced my brother to let me garage my NSX over the ML 55, even though the ML is worth more.

keep in mind...these are ALL HIS CARS, NOT MINE!!!

here is a pic of his not too concervative H2

the H2 is lifted 16" and on 44" tires, so obviously it won't fit in a garage, but everyday...we have to shuffle cars around to find parking.

-2K original miles
-Dual Fox resivour shocks
-Custom one-off suspension
-Chrome EVERYTHING
-17" Weld Wheels
-Electric motorized steps that come down when you open the door
-100K mile extended factory warranty (who knows what gets excluded now that it's lifted)

TALK ABOUT ATTENTION GETTER!!!

This thing can be seen from a mile away...LITERALLY. I've driven down the Sunset strip and it for sure got more attention than the exotics.

here is a side profile. The girl in the pic is 5'5", but wearing heels, so more realistically 5'8"

well as of today, my NSX will most likely have to get street parked somewhere, but I guess you can't argue with the reasoning why!

'01 360 spider
-720 original miles
-Tubi exhaust
-Challenge rear grill
-Scuderia shields (side ferrari emblems)
-daytona seats
-18" modular 3 piece wheels

so back to the reason of this post...

should I just try and find a storage unit for my car? or try and find an apt complex that will rent me just a garage? I don't want to have to street park my NSX, but I guess everyone here can legitimately understand why I lost my garage space.

I don't want to have to worry about dings, dents, vadalism, or even worse...theft.

oh well, it's my dilema.

take care guys...I hope you guys enjoyed the pics! :D

Wow, I'm impressed. :) Well we've gotta hang out sometime when I come home to SD. Whereabouts are you in SD? Anywhere near La Jolla?

all i can say is

WHOA! HIGH ROLLER!
lolz nice cars your brother has
what kind of doctor is he? family doc? cardiologist? ...
i wanna kno because maybe ill do the same since i just finished high school

All I got to say is DAMN!!!! Too bad for your NSX... There must be some way of getting a parking stall for it in the garage. Maybe post something on the lobby bulletin board asking for a stall to rent out. I hope someone will appreciate your car and give up a stall. It doesn't deserve to be parked on the street! :(

If he can afford all those cars, couldn't he move to a house with 3-4 garages. Then, you can take those parking spaces in the condo (I suppose that you two are living together?) for your gorgeous NSX and live alone in the condo. :D

BTW, I would take your NSX over ML55!!

Where's the link for the mods on that girl?:D

Holy good God! 28 and he has a 355, 360, pimped out H2, and ML55? Damn...but why not sell the 355 and the H2 and buy a real house?

I was never too keen on people who spent all their money on cars and lived in a little condo with 5 exotics outside...even if u love cars, drive 3 and live in a nice house where you can keep all of them garaged!

beautiful cars none-the-less. The 360 modena interior is less than par but hey, its a ferrari! :D

definetly post something in the lobby asking to rent out extra garage space. Not everyone is using their space, i'm sure.

Not trying to be tasteless in this post with financial details, but to clear the air...

He's been looking at other homes, but wants to stay on the boardwalk.

My brother already has two condos (one ocean front that we live in and another that is one unit in from the boardwalk. That one was just put on the market to sell and is in escrow for over half a $1M)

He also just put a bid on another place that's over $1.5M, so I wouldn't worry about him affording cars and not real-estate.

I think the place we live in now, just went on the market for $1M...hell, I might not even have a place to park MYSELF soon!
 ha ha ha

go to www.dotworkz.com and click on live camera at mission beach...then you guys will see why my brother loves the beach.

Not trying to be tasteless X-TNSIV, but I HATE YOU. :D :D :D

I used to live in an oceanfront condo until I moved to PENNSYLTUCKY! Boy do I miss that place...

Your bro is one fortunate mofo. Nice rides!!

Best post eva!

Wow I'm really impressed with the selection of cars, and the tasteful modifications. I was suppossed to start my electrical engineering degree later this year...but man you have me thinking!

What college did your bro go to? Hell where did you go to college?

What kind of doctor is he?

Please help an aspiring rich guy ahahha

How?

Exactly how did your brother become a successful doctor with all of that money by age 28? Graduate HS at 18, 4 years undergrad = 22yo, 4 years med school = 26, minimum 3 years residency and internship = 29 yo. Is he Doogie Howser or something? Otherwise the numbers don't add up. This is all assuming no college and med school loans to pay off. If he's a surgeon or neurosurgeon that's at least 5-7 years of residency. If he's a specialist ie cardiologist, that's an additional 3-4 years of fellowship on top of residency and internship. How does he afford over $500,000 in cars and over $2,000,000 in real estate? Either you're exaggerating or there's more to the story.
