Seems like everyone is progressing except honda. Here is the link.

Because Honda can do much better. They are just taking their time getting it right. This is frustrating, but at least what we get finally would be hopefully worth the looooong wait:mad:

By the way.........
This was below the picture of the car at "WorldCarFans":

I'll believe this claptrap once I see it. Arash Farboud is master of the press release but has never ever made it to a productionised car in spite of many attemps - The Farbio team had to almost completely re-engineer his last effort. And now he announces a car to fit below another model no one has driven yet. I wonder if I could get the job of dreaming stuff up, sticking it out to the press and everyone thjiking I own a car company?

So...Honday can build a car and engineer it and this guy can design something that looks great IMO. Perhaps Honda would be wise to collaborate with someone like him or Pininfarina or some outside design-house. Because if the ASCC is a Prelude to the Elements of their future design, many people will be Fit with leaving Acura/Honda dealerships in one Accord and in Legend-ary numbers!!!

Like Honda did w/ the NSX.

Quote: "In 1984 Honda commissioned Pininfarina to design the HP-X (Honda Pininfarina Xperimental), which had a mid-mounted 2.0 L V6 configuration." (from wikipedia)

Granted, the HP-X is no head turner today, but in 1984 when it was comissioned by Honda, it gave us a view into where the NSX design was headed.

After Pininfarina's HP-X concept, the NSX design was lead by Ken Okuyama, who later worked at Pininfarina and lead development of the Enzo.

It just goes to say Honda went all out on the original NSX design.

Because Honda spent too much money building this.

I agree 100%. They need to send their CA based design team on an Odyssey to find their souls which in turn........will show in their work! BTW....they should get Keichi or Gan-san to Pilot it around the nurburgring!

really? you think so?
i know they say that the HP-X helped inspire the design of the nsx, but i just don't see it. (at all, heh)

I agree that the HP-X shape is very different from the actual NSX, but there are some design cues in there that carried over (you have to squint and really use your imagination  Also, remember this was 1984). In addition, it was design study in both body style and engine based on what I've read in the past.
