Like our great Pres. of the NSXCA, why black rims? Is it a race style? Looks great with a NSX with a black top, or carbon fiber hood, two-tones. Opinions please on why you would pick white, gold, chrome, or even stick with the originals? I would like to know what NSX drivers are thinking. And I'm sure there's no cost advantage of having black...I prefer chrome on a dark colored NSX. (Midnight blue with chrome wheels is my next preference.)...Jerry

Black on black is a very bold color combination. I do not think it looks race-car-like though. I think it looks Darth-Vaderish. It is saying the the driver is a dark, gloomy, and depressed individual. Said individual may have dark, deep, secrets that plague him to the point he could perhaps be somewhat mysterious...perhaps a bit insane? This is raw sexual appeal for said driver. Or, perhaps the driver thought the color combination looked nice so he purchased black rims.

The color of wheels is a very subjective thing. I think white looks race-car-like. Chromed looks fancy and I think gold is a mix between fancy and racer.

I think the black on black makes the boldest statement though. It turns the delicate classic lines of the entire car in to something much different. Said color combo looks quite menacing in my opinion. I like it.
