Who's tried to put a deposit on one?

My wife gave me the green light to go for a new one... However, I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck in getting in line?

I tried yesterday. They won't take a deposit since the car has not been "officially" announced. My salesperson is doubtful that it will ever happen. We'll see.

That's what the dealership here in Dallas said, " don't hold your breath". I was struggling to purchase something newer or to even spend a few dollars on my current one. My wife is pushing me for a DB7 Aston.. However, that would probably rule out the NSX when released.
