I hear it was designed to be an "NSX killer" but even with the jet engines, it didn't quite achieve it's goal.

Everyone I know has sent me a link to that since it has been up. I have a video of that car on the salt flats somewhere. Pretty neat car. It's not something I'd ever do to a car, but neat all the same. Some air show should buy that.
