Yes boys and girls, windshields are still available from Honda for all model years of the NSX. There was a change in part number and price for the 1997 and later cars.
The 1991-1996 Part: 73111-SL0-S06 (approx $600.00 from a discounting dealer)
then we have....
the 1997-2005 Part: 73111-SL0-A02 with (Green) added to the description and a cost of about $1400.00 from a discounting dealer.
My questions are pretty straightforward.....
1. What is the difference between the 2 windshields? Change of supplier?, New standards mandated by law? New windshield technology such as shatter resistance or UV filtering? Inquiring minds want to know!
Thanking you......

Thank you to Irv who emailed me Ken's answer. I swear I did a search before posting this!

The reason you're seeing a huge difference in price is beginning in 1997 they changed from a blue-tinted glass to a heat-absorbing, green-tinted glass. The 1997-2005 windshield (part number 73111-SL0-A02) lists for $2018, the 1991-1996 (73111-SL0-506) for $968. Those are list prices, and then you can typically find 25 percent discounts from list. If you get the earlier version for a '97-05 NSX, its look may not match the rest of the glass on your car. So that may be something you might want to consider. (The other five less expensive parts - moldings and fasteners - are the same for all years.)
