I want to get an idea of different suspension/wheel/tire combos that work perfectly with the NSX, that is, it does not rub under any circumstances.

Can someone post their wheel, tire, and suspension (eibachs, H&R, Teins, etc) combos and a quick little blurb about whether it rubs or not? Thanks!

Ryan

I have found this to work best on a stock body NSX, however, even the same wheels with the same specs will vary slightly.

17x8.0 +42-45
18x10.0 +42-46

height drop 1.25" front, 1.0" rear

With this setup, I use 235/40zr17, 275/35zr18 and they do not rub with minor modification to the fender.

For street use, 17x7.5 18x9.5 with correct offset with 215/40zr17, 255-265/35zr18 seems to work best.

I use two different sizes of wheels and tires:

1. front 205/50-15 on 15x6.5 wheel with 55 mm offset, rear 225/50-16 on 16x8 wheel with 60 mm offset

2. front 215/45-16 on 16x7 wheel with 55 mm offset, rear 245/40-17 on 17x8.5 wheel with 60 mm offset

My suspension is stock except that I recently switched from OEM struts to Bilsteins using the perch that maintains the stock ride height.

No rubbing with any of these sizes using either set of struts, and no modification of fenders or wheel well liners was necessary.

I've got eibachs (model 4025-140 is what the receipt says) ready to install when my rims arrive, does anyone know what the drop will be. Chris you mentioned 1.25" front and 1" rear is that using two different sets of springs or do they come that way.

Well, the eibach web site says its 1.2 front and rear. But I think it really varies.
