I have always bleed my brake using the 2 person method, but decided to try the mighty vac, when I hook up and open up the bleeder, I notice so many tiny bubble constantly flowing, I'm sure the vac is sucking in air at the bleeding thread, anyone have better luck and what you did to prevent sucking up bubble? I think I continue with my trusted 2 person method.

Smear grease around the bleeder where it enters the caliper with your finger or something small. The bubbles will stop.

I tried that as well as putting Teflon on bleeder thread still some bubbles. After while I just gave up and knock on my neighbor door and ask mrs. Johnson to hang out with me in the garage

Mighty vac is crap ... I have it and also a professional vacuum bleeder.

The single best bleeding device uses overpressure at the master cylinder and refills the fluid automatically. just open the bleeder screws, wait 15 seconds, close, next three brakes, finished ...

You get this device of ebay here in europe für 50 Euros ...

There is nothing wrong with a mighty vac!, the reason you are getting bubbles is that you are pulling too much of a vacuum . The proper way to do it is to first crack the bleeder and then pull only enough vacuum to see fluid movement . If you pull too much of a vacuum at the bleeder and then open it ,yes you will draw air from the threads and the hose connection at the nipple .

Thank you Ralph; I've always wondered what I was doing wrong :->

Hi Ralph, even at a very low 5 psi I still get bubble coming and this is after applying grease around tube I gave up after couple try, possible I'm doing something wrong, I gave up after awhile.

Don't know ,I first remove the bleeder and make sure the seat and hole in it are clean. Then I use a 3mm hose on the bleeder adapted to the mighty vac. I just crack the bleeder and pump gently till I get fluid .GO back to two person method . Pump pedal slowly ,do not push all the way to the floor ( you will put the seal into an area of the master cylinder that it does not normally travel ) after each stroke get foot completely of pedal . Either way works for me , good luck.
