I just picked up a set of Eibach springs for my NSX and need to get them installed. I'd probably try it myself, if I had someone looking over my shoulder, but I don't have a garage nor the tools at the moment.

Anyone suggest a reputitble person or shop in the Socal area? Not looking to drop a fortune. Whats a fair price for the install? A $100? a few cold ones

I am getting the nsx r suspension install tomorrow at a local shop for 150-200 including alignment. This guy is very familiar with our car, he has changed the suspension on my cars 3 times now, everything turned out perfect. He is located in Rosemead, if you like more info email me.

funny.. just about to do the job myself this weekend. I will be installing tanabe and Koni's.

You may want to think about swapping out shocks if you are running 91 oem shocks since the labor is the same.

I would bet that Darrin over at West End Alignment in Gardena could do a fine job as well with the install.

You guys in SoCal have it good with so many choices to do suspension work at such reasonable prices.

Here in Vegas there are only a handful of shops I would want to work on my car and the minimum they would charge is $300 without the alignment.

$300+$80 alignment= $380

You come over for lunch with us= $0.00 ( on me )
Gas= $35.20
lower and alignment= $250.00
Total= $285.20

Money saved= $94.80 :eek: .........Sandy, you toooo can be lucky :tongue:

Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim will install springs for 150 and do the alignment for 100.

Seriously I would let someone experience do it for $150.. It took a long time.. but once I started, I ended up doing it.. no turning back..

So would you say $150 is a fair price for the job?

eh, forget wheel warehouse.
they wanted me to take in my car on thursday and pick it up on saturday? :eek: I love my NSX too much to be apart for that long.

i went somewhere else and did it for a similar price and only took 4 hours.
i had H&R's installed and they came out alright... i'll shoot and post some after pics when it clears up

4 hours for $150... You got a DEAL!!!!!!

Now remember to align it. and tell us your impression on the shop.

4 hours seems long, had mine done in 1.5 hour including alignment. I guess the nsx r suspension is a little faster because you don't have to disassemble the spring and shock. :smile:
