I am next on slot for Oct. and am struggling with which color choice to go with. Please help if you have a moment and if you've seen these colors in real life.

Nord Gray Metallic
or
Source Silver Metallic
or
Casino White Pearl

I want to blend.
My dealer let me know today that he would not order me Nord. Said if there were issues with the sale that the color would not be popular. At this point my choices are dwindling.
 
..odd, so the dealer doubts your ability to pay for the car of your choice:confused:
 
that is BS! Are you providing a deposit ? If so...he has no right to say that to you...Are you dealing with the owner ? GM ? If not, that conversation needs to be brought to their attention IF you want to make such a selection. What region of the country are you in ?

If you are buying the car for yourself it's easy.
Pick your favorite color.
However it sounds like you intend to flip the car and want to pick a color that will appeal to many buyers.
If that's the case can't help you.
 
Dealer out in west coast. They are good guys there and I took it as "It's a precaution in case buyer walks away". I am looking at long term ownership but might sell it in 7+ years-ish.. I can't predict that far ahead. I have seen Nord Gray in pictures and some of them are GREEN and some are this beautiful gray with a hint of green.. I understand there are not many green supercars out there so if in the flesh the car is too green then I am a bit afraid..
 
I like the way all the black plastic blends with Nord Gray. Silver painted Y spoke rims might look good on Nord, instead of dark colored ones.
 
From the pics of silver I have seen, it appears to be a very "natural" color for the NSX- - - Updated - - -

My 2 cents as I went through same question though included V Red Pearl. I viewed samples several times under assorted lighting conditions.I went to dealer with different color cars I own and some Honda motorcycles to compare swatches with. These are only my personal observations and views so no hackling please. Everyone is entitled to their own personal preference and interpretations so that , as it should be, is the final deciding factor 1st-> All will look great. CW will offer a lot of pop but I don't care for how the black parts contrast it. I feel the same when seeing a white C7. Based on experience with a few white pearl cars of several shades, it won't show being dirty as quickly/easily as you might think. But when it does get bad, it really is noticeable and looks bad.NG (more a green) looks special, but pending the lighting could be grand or blah. And when not spotless (a few hours after a wash/cleaning, or short drive pending season and area) could look blah or not so special. Plan on frequent washing and or detailing and consider keeping such products in trunk.VRP is absolutely georgeous and offers a lot of pop. But under some conditions it looks ... Just like a RED car. What I'm saying is that under those conditions, It does not accent the varied people lines , surfaces, and curves. And considering the % ordered, will be (over time) more if not most common seen. It is almost identical to my Chrimson Red Pearl XLR. Somuch so that the paint swatch sample essentially disappeared when placed on my XLR at different locations. That type of red will not look dirty too quickly.SS will not show dirt too readily. It is the best at showing off/ accenting the assorted curves/lines and surfaces under more varied lighting conditions. I like to use the term it is good at Shadowing. Car designers typical experiment with design models in silver to see if the look is what they are seeking as it is best at revealing good and bad design features. And for what it is worth I think it will give it more of a Europen flair. Not necessary but something I think it brings out. I hope it will also offer good Pop in bright light, since I have not seen any real pix of it in such lighting.OK... That's my 2 cents.Choose what you like and for your reasons vs someone else's! You want to smile when you walk up to or away from it regardless of what others think. And again. IT WILL LOOK GRAND IN ANY OF THE COLORS!
 
Anyone see Source Silver in person? I am leaning that way now.. I want to blend in but still want a great classic look to the car. I'm older and not looking to be flashy at all.
 
I've seen them all. Even the unicorn Nord color.If you don't want flashy, then Nord is the best out of your choices. Everyone is right, it's a super rare color and based on the take rate will probably just be dropped after this first model year. Which probably will mean that there will be fewer than 10-15 Nord cars ever made.From a collector standpoint, that's going to make it much more desirable in a couple decades. If you don't plan on having the car that long, then it's irrelevant. If it's not popular now, it won't be popular in 5-10 years if that's when you're thinking of getting out of the car, so it'd be a liability then.To be honest...Valencia Red Pearl is not as flashy as you'd think. That'd be the one I'd get if I was trying to tone things down a bit. The whites on a car like this make it stick out like a sore thumb. And silver? Meh. Just doesn't work on this car to me for some reason. So think about Valencia Red. It's the "classic look" you want. Yes the Andaro paint shines quite well, and on the Nouvelle Blue it is the epitome of a flashy car. But the Valencia Red is still a darker red and with the black wheels, seems to look a little subdued compared to some of the other color/wheel combos.

I would choose Nord Gray out of those 3 colours. I think the biggest issue with Nord Gray is that it doesn't photograph very well. It seems to be one of these colours that shift with the light. As a result, a lot of buyers are shying away from it since they can't see it in person. Once a number of those cars are out on the street, I think it will get more popular. Of course, this is assuming that Acura doesn't drop it altogether.
 
Thanks for the feedback. My heart says Nord Gray but hate buying without seeing the color in real life. The other colors are pretty straight forward and can see them on many Acuras already. I will not be flipping the car in the next 5 years but also not sure if I will hold it forever. My avg sports car ownership is 7-10 years. I am concerned with value even if I keep it for many many years. One never knows what life will throw at them...

Yes. They heard other dealers being burned by possible buyers that never came through and don't want to be stuck with a green car. that's what they said after I tried to seek Nord again instead of Silver.
