haha
I am trying to get some informations for NSX cars.

I heard that there are early model without power steering assitance??
really??

1991-1994 manual transmission cars had manual steering.

All automatic trans cars have power steering 1991-2005.

In 1995 ALL models went to power steering, as Brian mentions.

My info is based on US production, not sure if these is worldwide configurations

...except for the Zanardi NSX, sold in 1999.

Good Catch Ken,

BTW, Is that also true of a few later like 1998 Coupes?

Thanks,

No. All '95-05 NSXs sold in the North American market other than the '99 Zanardi have power steering.

If you look in the FAQ section about the Zanardi, it shows weight reduction figures. There was a 95-pound difference between the '98 NSX-T and the non-Zanardi '98 NSX Coupe. The deletion of power steering was responsible for most of the additional weight savings of the Zanardi model beyond the NSX Coupe (32 of the 54 pound additional savings).

China Boy,

I think you will have to check... All the replies so far have been from people in the US... They are perfectly correct for all the US delivered NSX's...

However, different countries got different specifications!

In Australia, power steering was standard on manual cars from '93 onwards
