Which hose goes to the EACV? (cleaning TB)

I was cleaning the TB and saw several posts mention cleaning the EACV and fast idle sensor. However I never saw which hoses lead to these. I searched the forum and looked in the service manuel and still couldn't find the hoses that go to these. There is the skinny hose that goes to the top of the TB, the fat hose behind that one goes in the side of the TB, and the fat hose behind that one that comes from the valve cover from the PCV I believe. Any help on which hose to spray the cleaner in?

The EACV has no hoses conected to it. It uses pasages in the throttle body.

Am I supposed to spray into these passages? Where on the throttle body are they located? 12 o'clock? In front of the butterfly, behind? Should I spray into the passages when the car is on?

I know there was a good article in the NSXCA magazine on throttle body cleaning, however I cannot find any complete info on the site.

Thanks

The RPM's are sometimes bouncing from 900-1900 and sometimes the car idles high in cold weather (after it is warmed up). The car usually runs fine on warm days. I had a ton of junk in the TB which i cleaned, but I imagine the EACV and fast idle control valve need some TLC too. Larry Bastanza write an article on this, but it is nowhere to be found on the prime site.

High idle is normally a vacuum leak problem but it seems like you are having a problem with the fast idle valve being balky. Make sure you have no air in the cooling system the fast idle valve is controled directly by coolant flowing through it.

What kind of problem ar you having? The only good way to clean the EACV and its pasages would be to remove it.
Is there a write up with pictures about ECAV removal and cleaning? I am getting rough engine running under load at less than 2,750 rpm. I am getting a 14 code (one long and four short flashes of check engine light when I jumper the connector). I cleaned the butterfly/throttle body as best I could and pulled/reset the ecu/radio fuse. The engine ran perfectly for one or two pulls and then started running rough under load again at <2,750 rpms. I figure I need a real EACV cleaning.
Ps-My idle is steady.

I too am having issues with the car dying as i come to a stop with the A/C on. Stock clutch and flywheel for now. Definitely will need A/C for the summer. Can the EAVC be cleaned with TB cleaner while on the car or will it have to be removed? if I remove it, where is that circuit so that I can clean it? Thanks in advance for any advice.

So after some more research I see the Fast Idle and EAVC circuits are separate units on the rear side of the intake manifold and not attached to the Throttle Body itself. They are bolted onto the Intake manifold. Both circuits are influenced by coolant temperatures so hoses will need to be plugged in order to contain your coolant. Looks like I'll get to this project when I have the motor pulled this summer. In the meantime I can clean the throttle body....

My system is working as advertised...cleaned the throttle body and plugged in the EACV (which I inadvertently left unplugged doing my CTSC install).
